About WINERY:
The Opera Room is a pioneering tasting room located within the District Wine Village in Oliver, British Columbia. Established by Michal and Martina Mosny of Winemaker’s CUT, it is the first dedicated space in the province to offer a curated selection of no- and low-alcohol wines and ciders, reflecting a growing trend toward mindful consumption.
Drawing inspiration from Michal’s Slovakian heritage, The Opera Room's offerings include 0% ABV Piquettes made from Muscat and Merlot grapes, as well as local Gala apples. These beverages are infused with a proprietary blend of herbs and sparkling water, crafted without preservatives. Low-alcohol options feature a 4.5% ABV elderflower spritzer, a 6.9% ABV plum cider, and a 7.0% ABV cranberry cider, all made from locally sourced fruits.
The Opera Room also offers dealcoholized wines, such as Incognito Blanc and Rosé, produced from 100% British Columbia-grown grapes. The alcohol is gently removed, resulting in an alcohol level of only 0.6% without compromising taste and flavour.
