Ve Oh Lay Acres is a vibrant, family-run winery and farm located in Summerland, British Columbia. Founded by Maddison and Laurent Violet, the 11-acre estate combines sustainable agriculture with innovative winemaking, offering a unique and engaging experience for visitors.
The winery specializes in small-batch, award-winning honey wines (meads) and grape varietals. Their flagship mead, Archer—a blend of honey, cherry, plum, and blackberry—earned a gold medal at the National Wines of Canada Awards. Other notable offerings include Appeachiation, a refreshing honey and peach blend, and Impulsive, Capricious, and Melodramatic, a blueberry-infused mead that received a bronze medal.
Beyond the tasting room, Ve Oh Lay Acres features a petting farm with over 150 free-range animals, including sheep, pigs, alpacas, and chickens.
