About WINERY:
Priest Creek Family Estate Winery is a boutique, family-owned winery nestled in the scenic hills of Southeast Kelowna, British Columbia. Established in 2015 by Darren and Jane Sawin, the winery was born from their aspiration to return to their agricultural roots and raise their four children amidst the beauty of vineyard life. Their 12.5-acre estate, once home to table grapes, now flourishes with varietals like Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Gewürztraminer, including vines over 30 years old.
The winery's name pays homage to the land's rich history. Priest Creek, which runs behind the property, feeds into Mission Creek, where Father Pandosy is believed to have planted the valley's first wine grapes in the mid-1800s . This connection to the past is a cornerstone of the winery's identity.
Visitors to Priest Creek can enjoy tastings in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, complemented by stunning mountain vistas.
