About BREWERY:
Abandoned Rail Brewing Co. is a family-owned farm brewery nestled on the scenic Naramata Bench in Penticton, British Columbia. Situated alongside the historic Kettle Valley Rail Trail, this unique establishment offers a blend of traditional brewing and local agriculture.
Founded in March 2022 by Nicole and Scott Breier, along with their longtime friend and German-certified brewmaster Peter Schulz, Abandoned Rail stands out as one of the few farm breweries in the province. The team cultivates five acres of barley on-site, ensuring that their European-inspired beers are crafted with homegrown ingredients.
The brewery's name pays homage to the adjacent Kettle Valley Rail Trail, reflecting its commitment to preserving local history while fostering a welcoming environment. Visitors can enjoy a variety of award-winning beers, such as the Bellhop Porter and Tunnel Vision Euro IPA, in a relaxed setting that includes dog-friendly patios and a cozy tasting room.
